At James we have long believed in helping talented and deserving students, and have provided dozens with financial and other assistance through our Kids Inc. foundation.
With our annual writing scholarships, we want to encourage and support strong student writing.  Each winner of our two essay contests will receive $1,000 towards tuition.  This year the two essay topics are:

1. Topic for law students:

How Can More Legal Assistance Be Provided to Low-Income Individuals?

2. Topic for college students:

You may submit an essay on any topic related to the law

The essays will be judged primarily on the quality of the writing.  They must be at least 500 words long, be written in plain English, and consist entirely of original work.
The essays are due April 1 and the scholarships will be awarded in May.  The winning essays will be published on our site.
Please submit your essay to this email, and include your resume.  Good luck!
